In all seriousness though, the pie was super easy to make and is gluten free and sugar free for all you health nuts out there. The recipe will soon be posted under "Recipes" tab of my blog. The crust was very crumbly as you can imagine a gluten free crust would be, but it tasted just as good as regular pie crust.

I also prepared a wonderful gluten free Chicken Parmesan feast for dinner including: rice pasta, rice flour breaded chicken, mushrooms, and fresh Mozzarella. I think we both put down a full plate in 5 minutes or less. Simply delicious!

And to give us the final push us over that obesity ledge I decided to make chocolate covered bacon on a whim. Matt's two favorites include chocolate and bacon; what could be better than uniting them in one spectacular desert?!?! I even decorated it all fancy-like with red Valentines Day accents!

Sadly it turns out Matt does not like chocolate covered bacon. So, my co-workers are enjoying it today instead. I like to share the love.
Despite the bacon, Matt seemed to appreciate everything and it's the least I could do after he surprised me with these beautiful flowers. Mind you, I skipped my workout to do all this baking so Matt better have appreciated it. First, skipped workout in weeks!

yeah... and like I said, was not crazy about it. It just was NOT right, bacon is purely perfect WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING TO IT!!! The only way for bacon to be better, is to have MORE bacon!
The pie was crumbly because we have not bought arrowroot powder yet.
