As I was catching up on my blog reading I found that I was nominated by Big Daddy Diesel for the "Versatile Blogger Award". Thanks BDD for allowing me to continue to not focus at work ;) Now I guess I have to list 7 random facts about myself:
- My goal for this winter is to learn the dance (shuffle) to Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO (see below).
- I love to sing out loud in my car. The world is thankful I do so with my windows rolled up ;)
- When I was a kid I
frequentlydrank maple syrup straight from the bottle. - My most favorite food is the pierogi (home made by my mom).
- My most favorite pierogi is lekvar (for those of you who are not Polish, that's a fancy term for prune filling).
- In 34 days I will be 30 years old...my life is practically over!
- Last year I applied for a university position in Hawaii. I was one of two finalists selected for the position. I lost....DAMN!!!!!
And now I am supposed to pick 12 people to continue this torture mass amount of fun!!! I am only going to pick two because I am lame and don't have time to pick 12 at the moment. I pick Kevin and Jennie Neumann (Ironman by Thirty and Neumann News) two of my favorite bloggers!
This will be me someday ;)

That kind of stinks about getting so close and yet so far on Hawaii! So do you still like maple syrup or did you get sick of it?

Is that really the 'main' difference? I can think of quite a few. Heather I think you really are Canadian between the beer bong and maple syrup.
@BDD, and it will be for that very reason that I WON'T show Matt the "I'm Sexy and I Know it" video ;) He already dances to it and sings it....no need to throw in a speedo!
Kevin - Not only is Matt my trophy husband, but I am his Sugar Mama. How did I get the short end of the stick on that one?
misszippy - Ironically I never use syrup anymore...not even on waffles. I still like it, just never use it.

Have followed Matt's blog for a few months and kept meaning to add yours to my roll. Didn't realize you were a Civ-E too (I keep seeing a lot of engineer/math/science geeks in triathlon blogland - coincidence?). Cool about rocket science and almost getting a job in Hawaii. Love the dance - looks like fun. Looks like once you master the running man it wouldn't be that hard. Guess you aren't old enough (gee - 30!) to remember when it was big the first time (mid-80s). I sing with my windows open. But unlike your dear husband, no one minds. :) Strange enough - when I was young, I ate MUSTARD. Never have liked syrup.
I'm thinking that we could totally learn this dance during the bike portion of the race on Saturday. :)
